The tournament was held as a final preparation for the Paralympic Games in Beijing and saw the hometeam Sweden as the winner. Seven teams participated in the first edition. After that there were plans to make the Men Intercup as a yearly arrangement too but of some reasons it took up to 2012 before the second edition take place, that time as a preparation for the Paralympic Games in London. Also in 2012 Sweden made a very great performance through the tournament but they were beaten in the final by 4-5 against Finland. Ten teams participated in that second edition. The third edition was played in 2014 and this time together with the ladies tournament. Eight teams participated and Germany beat Israel in the final by 7-5 and the thought to do the tournaments together was such a great success that we did it again in 2015 and seven teams participated there. Turkey won the gold after beaten Belgium with 11-2 in the final game. The champions have been: 2008 Sweden 2012 Finland 2014 Germany 2015 Turkey
